Walking for Coperni at the end of Paris Fashion Week Hadid pulled off quite the feet of couture prestidigitation that certainly made news.
But leave it to Bella Hadid to lead the blog-o-news as she did this week when she entered the premiere of “Tre Piani (Three Floors)” at the 74th Cannes Film Festival. The supermodel appeared on the infamous film celebration’s red carpet in a flowing Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2021/22 crepe gown. The beautiful gown, as much sported long-sleeves but most notably, quite the low-cut neckline.

It’s as hard to get past Halloween without some latex accessory or a carved pumpkin, as it is not mentioning what Heidi Klum wore. The supermodel’s annual Halloween party is infamous for celebrities coming out dressed in all their finest Halloween frockery. But it’s most famous for Klum revealing her yearly pulling-out-all-the-stops over-the-top amazing costume concoction.
What was of notice to some, and certainly to us at Dawnamatrix given our penchant for (and selling of) such accessories, were the masks models were wearing down the runway. Stephen Jones created stunning seeming face extensions for models wearing Maria Grazia Chiuri designs. Certainly the masks were perfect for this type of gathering and in some circles, people were talking about them as much as they were Bella Hadid’s display.
Lots is being made about the celebs showing up, and ‘showing off’, at Paris Couture Week. Julianna Moore and Elle Fanning and more came to the City of Lights for the shows, as well as Celine Dion showing lots of skin, posing naked on Vogue’s Instagram account. But by all accounts Bella seems to have won the day n with her daring, style and metallics infused into such a high-fashion event.
We would have been proud to declare that Bella Hadid had worn one of our accessories in a photo shoot. Or that we happened to outfit Liu Wen for a strut down the runway. Or that we might even be getting a mention in the newest CR Fashion Book or to have said some of our wardrobe pieces appeared in a Mario Sorrenti shoot or that we got to work with stylist Carine Roitfeld. Any of those credits alone would have been enough for solid bragging rights.
