Though there wasn’t a hint of latex costumes this time out, still we all were treated to quite the startling mix of styles at the Grammys 2017 even before the show began. All but a show unto itself (and certainly broadcast), the red carpet walkin-in is as much a perfect advertisement for designers as it is for stars to get in a first outrageous outfit before they often times change for the show itself.
Our excitement over Katy Perry wearing out latex couture in the new Covergirl “Plumpify” Mascara commercial continues. We have just learned that a print add from the commercial-showing Dawnamatrix couture-has appeared in a two-page spread in the January 2016 issue of U.S. Vogue.
As latex wearers as much as designers we want ever more captivating colors, luscious cuts and sexy styles and if and when we can manage them, certainly prints of outstanding quality and rendering across our latex. We seem to have hit on a very popular ‘trend’, something we certainly did not predict but are thrilled to exploit all the same, our Leopard Print Latex.
Let’s face it; some folks have ‘it.’ An indefinable quality that draws eye and attention, captivates an intimate party gathering or stills a big audience, transcends media, place or time. Charisma, sex appeal, just an unstoppable joie de vivre, call it what you will.
