We might not ever see either of them in any latex couture (EVER) still there is no denying the popularity of the power couple, Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce. And after all this time of them being the current most popular twosome in the world, it was reported this week that Swift and Kelce just made their red-carpet debut.
The two were caught walking hand-in-hand into the opening night of the Tight End University in Nashville. This is a summer camp Travis helped found four years ago. A video posted by the TEU on their Instagram captured the couple arriving together, drawing attention from both attendees and fans online and off. Again, neither was dressed in any latex or even an accessory that could be considered alternative or high-couture fashionable.
And the carpet was decidedly orange sporting a white diamond pattern.
So, why all this attention on a red-carpet debut when this couple has been a supposed couple that’s rocked the world since September 2023 when Kelce invited Swift to a football game he was playing in? They have been seen together plenty of times since; Taylor famously attending Kelce’s games, as much to cheer as to fuel network camera feeds, the two see at high-end affairs or just walking to and from some eatery on a date. But for all their out-and-abouts, technically it seems the duo have never stepped across a red carpet together.
So, the TEU entrance might indeed have been the first.
It could also be that at this moment, the couple (or at least Swift) is enjoying a high-profile moment, beyond even taking the world by storm on her just-passed Eras Tour. Swift recently announced that she acquired all the rights to all of her music. This means the 35-year-old superstar singer/songwriter/performer will benefit 100%, or at least what she deems appropriate, of her musical output revenue, no matter from where it comes.
And with the “New Heights” podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason and football season coming up, it seems Travis Kelce is a big enough presence with his girlfriend to make a red-carpet sizzle.
