Sabrina Carpenter’s Alternate Cover For “Man’s Best Friend,” Approved By God.

And sweet Sabrina wasn’t even wearing any latex!

This week Sabrina Carpenter revealed an alternative cover to her upcoming album Man’s Best Friend. The more sedate picture she offers this time she claims is approved by God. Sabrina also added in one of her posts the words: “THE CAPTION IM DEAD,” whatever that all means.

As we might recall, the 26-year-old singer landed in some trouble over the past few weeks when she revealed the original cover of MBF (see above) The new pic (see below) is a black-and-white pic of Carpenter dancing with a man in a suit. This more ‘classic Hollywood’ type image pays obvious homage to an iconic shot most of the world knows well, of Marilyn Monroe dancing with Arthur Miller, her husband at the time.

Carpenter also dressed like MM on the cover of the March 2025 issue of Vogue.

The original cover of Man’s Best Friend, as you can see, has Carpenter in a classic LBD, kneeling on all fours, staring at the camera, mouth open. Additionally, she has one hand resting on a man’s leg, that man standing before, mostly out of frame, while holding a mess of Carpenter’s blond hair. This image, which surely triggered the triggerable as you’d imagine, was matched by another image Carpenter quickly put up on Instagram of a closeup of a dog wearing a collar with the words “Man’s Best Friend,” printed on it.

Whether she is playing with or into stereotypes, trying to be satirical towards them by simply attempting to be provocative to gain press,, making a statement about the hypersexualized business she is in, or just thinking the original, as well as the secondary image, sexy (or even all this bruhaha as absurd) at the very least the Sabrina Carpenter faithful will have two album covers to collect.

And we have yet another blog this week about album cover art, fashion, and fun.
