We just received a bunch of tear sheets for some recent photoshoots featuring our latex couture. As always, when sending out our clothing, we never know exactly (or if at all) what of our whole wardrobe pieces and/or accessories a photographer or stylist might use. But as you will see from the pictures here, things turned out even better than we could have dreamed.
Models Astrid Kallsen, and Joey Rose, wore several garments for her photoshoots with photographer Scott Binegar. Scott specializes in black and white fashion photography, and I feel his work is exquisite. I was so excited to see his vision of latex through his lens.
For TSYM Magazine, Astrid wears our Basic Bodysuit and Fractal Heart Underwire Dress. The latex envelopes beautiful Astrid like a second skin.
We also had the opportunity to dress model Joey Rose for shoots she took for Ellements Magazine. As you see here, Joey Rose wears our Opera Length Gloves and Cheeky Skirt…and looks so sexy doing so.
Lastly, for Rebel Magazine, Joey Rose wears our Open Face Hood, Cheeky Skirt, and Opera Length Gloves. This specific editorial was inspired by the Emily Dickenson poem, “The Soul Selects Her Own Society.”
Indeed, we have had and will always seek models, photographers, fashion shows, and really any showing of our latex clothing featuring the beautiful colors we work with. But there is truly something so rich and stylish with black and white photography. What Scott Binegar manages across all three of these photo collages showcases the deep nuance of what we refer to as our textile art. And matching his eye with the talents and beauty of Astrid and Joey, we’re not surprised the results came out this good.
The combination of lighting, setting, models, poses, and, yes, clothing did make for some scrumptious pictures.
