Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, Goth-tastic And Cosplay supportive

We might be waiting with bated breath for a hint of latex or at least some alternative couture other than the obligatory naked dress when we watch red-carpet walk-ins. But for an event as relatively new and unpredictable as Netflix Tudum 2025: The Live Event, we had high hopes.

And this time, there were some wonderful sartorial moments…if yet, sadly no latex.

Jenna Ortega made lots of news (if not the most of it). The recently named international ambassador for Dior Makeup is starring in another season of the hit “Wednesday” and pretty much matched, if not beat, the metallic dress she wore at the Met Gala. At the Kia Forum over the weekend, she stepped out in a smashing belted leather trench.

As close as we got to latex, was Vanessa Lachey in her shiny viny, blood-red jacket vest and skirt from Rowen Rose. For stunning looks, she matched Ortega in shine, cut and class.

India’s Hanumankind performed his viral smash, “The Game Don’t Stop,” serving as the anthem to Squid Game Season 2. And at the end of the show, Lady Gaga performed a medley of “Zombieboy,” “Bloody Mary,” and “Abracadabra,” dressed first in a black robe with rose appliqués, covering a black dress. Later she wore a red slinky dress, black fishnets, and boots. It was announced from the stage that Gaga will be appearing in “Wednesday.”

Between Gaga and Ortega, goth couture was certainly on display.

For those in the audience, it was as much a grand night to see stars and trailers of the upcoming “Frankenstein and “Happy Gilmore 2” as it was to dress up. Those in attendance managed their versions of cosplaying as much wearing black Wednesday dresses, straw hats supporting the show “One Piece,” and green tracksuits showing their love for “Squid Game.”

Not only the spelling of the exclamation, Tudum also exists as the companion site to Netflix. It offers deleted scenes, actor’s audition scenes, and Netflix news.
