Here’s a brief fashion roundup featuring cosplay potential, alternative fashion couture (no doubt including latex outfits), and another round of tennis fashion.
Sunday Gets Slick In London Again
Back here, we mentioned the Sunday Slick, a newly created alternative fashion event described as “part munch, part social, part market, part party” that happened in London, in May. Organized by the Director of Torture Garden, Founder of the Charmskool Showroom: A One-of-a-Kind-Shopping-Experience, and the Founders of the original Le Boutique Bazaar, the Sunday Slick was a lovingly ‘retelling ’ of the Bazaar. We now learn that another S.S. is coming to London town, taking place at the FYEO club, dubbed “London’s Naughtiest Gentlemen’s Club,” this weekend, on September 13th (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
The interactive day-to-evening social brings together various underground/alternative and, yes, we can say it, kink creative communities. Attendees will be treated to fashion catwalks, workshops and performances, the Charmskool-sponsored market and pop-ups, and photo studio extras. Plus music by DJ’s.
Surely, you’ll see some latex couture here.
Bat-info
As fans, cosplayers, and just the movie-curious wait patiently, “The Batman-Part 11” is being filmed, starring Robert Pattinson once again in the main role. And it seems this week movie-dom received another peek into the proceedings of the movie’s filming that began in June.
An Instagram user going by the account @jas.cinema shared a new video from the set of the film. While a rather dark clip, it was still clear enough that we can see Pattinson (sans cape in the snippet) wearing a new Batman costume. This one seems to have more armor across the neck and shoulders, though the overall design looks similar to what Pattison wore in his first turn as the Caped Crusader.
“The Batman — Part II” will be released in theaters on Feb. 18, 2026.
Goodbye To The Fashions of Naomi Osaka
It seems we won’t see any more of Naomi Osaka at the U.S. Open this year…at least not on the court. And while we have written about her sense of athletic style, surely promoting the idea that the game is ‘entertainment,’ as she says, the 28-year-old lost a fourth-round match this week to Elena Rybakina.
With her sponsor Nike behind her and honoring basketball with lots of her outfits, Osaka’s last court outfit, seen Monday night, was a fur-trimmed multi-colored cloak designed by Brooklyn-based label KidSuper. She accessorized the ensemble with a headband of blue, red, and white, again paying homage to the NBA logo.
