Getting’ Sexy At The 2015 Met Gala

thA sexy dress certainly thrills us to our bones here at Dawanamtrix; you can bet then that we were tickled pink and giggling at what was revealed at the 2015 Met Gala (just passed). Kim Kardashian revealed lots of herself in a sparkling Roberto Cavalli with trailing white tail feather train and lots of see-thru brocade. Miley Cyrus sported big side cut-outs in her low open back dress. Jennifer Lopez showed she is not lacking a famous inch ‘back there’ wearing her own quite see-thru Atlelier Versace and Miss Bey arrived decidedly late to the night in a nearly booty-baring Riccardo Tisci by Givenchy gown.

Eonline even went so far as to put to a cyber vote who had the best “Naked Dress” for the night (see here.) It’s a toss-up of course with all this female flesh on display.

The Gala, one of NYC’s biggest annual events, celebrated the Met’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” exhibition. The many rooms of this year’s featured collection is bigger and bolder then most of what the Met attempts, with a great grand history of the ancient culture represented in everything from high couture to Ming Vases. Having an affinity for the east as we do, with our Japanese-influenced latex kimonos and our dragon dresses we certainly champion a western institution like the Met revealing the influence of another culture, one far from its American shores.

But really it was the skin shown that made the most news at the Met Gala 2015. From red carpet, to a tool round the museum to the star-studded afterparties (‘studded’ with actresses, musicians and politicos alike) what the blog o’ sphere seems most a’light with today-and will be for the rest of the week to be sure-is who was wearing who, and in the case of some of our more alluring female celebs, how much were they showing?!
