Entering (and winning with them) our latex wardrobe pieces into the World of WearableArt competition for the past two years has not only been a thrill but has seen some dividends for Dawnamatrix well beyond the show and competition. We have we met innovative designers from across the globe. Our clothing was featured as part of a live performance piece tin a night that I could only describe as one of extreme sensual delight. And we actually traveled to New Zealand—that first year we entered—partaking of the beauty of that country and even got to frolic with hobbits. We have also seen our designs in the WOW’s museum and on their global tour. And just this month, through WOW, our couture is being seen in the latest issue of of MiNDFOOD magazine.
This latest issue of MiNDFOOD features a full page image of our pieces for the Foreign Bodies section of WOW’s 2019 campaign (we took 2nd place in “The Microscope Category” ). This is the first instance WOW has run this creative piece in MiNDFOOD, and we agree with them, the placement of the pictures and add in the magazine looks fantastic!
MiNDFOOD describes itself as “all about smart thinking content, bringing you the latest in community, health, beauty and style, home and travel, food and drink and more.” The current, April 2019 issue is chock full of great features, usual to MiNDFOOD and scrumptious pictures. The April issue also features Game of Thrones Emilia Clarke on its cover. You can have a look for yourself by going here to buy the magazine.
It is thrilling to represent WOW in this way. Here at Dawnamatrix, we’d pretty much do anything for the amazingly supportive and creative cadre of WOW folks. Placement in MiNDFOOD is just another of the amazing benefits we have seen in our relationship with WOW.
We can’t thank them enough.
