Yes, we just reported on Lady Gaga’s set pretty much starting off Coachella 2025 with her 4 set pieces, latex costumes, and music. But there were lots more on hand this first week of the festival than just what was happening on stage when it came to alt. couture….at least in what celebrity audience members showed up in.
First up, we had Kylie Jenner with a pre-weekend bash, wearing bright yellow latex dress and letting the world know that if one got parched at the festival, reaching for her new mango-flavored Sprinter vodka-soda was a good bet. When she walked the festival she was side-by-side with Timothée Chalamet in his backpack, loose pants, and hat, Kylie then sporting a crop top and loose cotton pants.
Cheeky Julia Fox (and we do mean cheeky in more ways than one) no stranger to alternative fashion choices or latex, really let more than just her personality hang out in the desert. She came to this first Coachella Valley weekend wearing a cream-colored corset and brown leather mini cape, leaving her famous rear exposed.
Singer/actor Troye Sivan went for the opposite look, all covered up in a long-sleeve tee, baggy jeans, and boots.
Paris Hilton strutted around the festival’s Neon Carnival in a bespoke cut-out fishnet bodysuit from brand Crop It Like It’s Hot. Hana O’Connor, Crop’s designer/owner lost her storefront in the L.A. fires and Paris appeared in her couture to show support and raise money. Maybe not as cheeky as Fox, but still there was lots of Paris on display.
Hailey Bieber was in a sleeveless LBD, and also later a red latex top. Singer Charli XCX both performed and was seen walking the grounds in a frilly, pleated skirt with a faded “Miss Should Be Headliner” scrawl across her white top.
And Bernie Sanders showed up certain US senator sartorial style in his usual navy blazer and light blue button-up shirt.
