What is it with bodysuits, latex, lace, leather, etc? Many have explored the versatility and style of this one-piece. And surely, it is not only Dawnamatrix who has championed latex bodysuits. Be they underwear or outerwear, used for layering or to complete a perfect silhouette; sporting snap crotches, zippers, high cut or thong-backed; fully covering one’s torso and hips, bodysuits are very much a go-to wardrobe piece these days.
And this past week we saw three specific high-profile lady celebs wearing bodysuits that made them and what they wore, news.
Need we pun that Jennifer Lopez surely ‘revved’ engines at the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix which she attended last Saturday? First walkig around, J.Lo rocked a ‘Barbie pink ’-colored latex bodysuit. Accessorizing with a darker pink belt, the bodysuit adorned with just as dark pink details, Lopez’s skin-tight one-piece also sported silver zippers running up her front and back. Later, she changed into other one-pieces as well as other outfits for her performance.
Not a first time at a race of this kind, Lopez headlined the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix.
Miley Cyrus as much announced the name of her upcoming album, Something Beautiful, released two new singles “End Of The World” and “Something Beautiful,” and released what everyone is calling quite an emotional live clip of her performing “End Of The World,” this week. She dedicated that tune to her mom, in attendance when Miley performed the song live at LA’s Chateau Marmont back on March 6th. Like Lopez, Cyrus rocked a bodysuit (leather this time) for the event, pairing it with black leather pants.
Lastly, stepping out for a meal at a Balearic Islands eatery, Kayne and his wife Bianca Censori of course caught the paparazzi’s eye. This time Bianca was covered up, her amazing curves though still quite evident with her wearing a black bodysuit.
So, count on a latex bodysuit in the mix where we saw lots of one-pieces this week.
