Our latex couture gets an airing in New York City July 16th –August 8 at the Art Meso, LA GENÈSE NEW YORK, show, benefitting Saprea. Deep in the heart of NYCs Times Square, at 1155 Avenue of Americas, seems to be the fashion place to be for the middle of summer!
Like the WOW show, this is an international showcase of fashion and artwork, which we are so thrilled to be part of.
Giving back to the community by supporting local and global organizations (like Saprea), Art Mesa is creating what they call the “perfect union of ART+Fashion” next week. In addition to us, there will be twelve other artists on hand showing their wares, plus chef Carlos Brown for the kick-off VIP night and Taryn Delaine hosting.
The countries represented at the show will be Trinidad and Tobago, the Republic of Moldova, Istanbul, Spain, Mexico, Italy, and the USA. On day 2, Sunday, 7/17, Art Meso will present their MESO MARKETPLACE from 2 pm to 6 pm, where the public can come in to see and purchase what the designers of the show sell and so much more.
Then one can come to Art Meso until the beginning of August to view the exhibit.
Being one of the premier fashion cities in the world, showing our latex wardrobe alongside such a talented grouping of designers and artists, and just being asked to be part of such a special occasion is something we won’t soon forget…and will just revel in come this next week and the following weekend.
Saprea is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping survivors of child sexual abuse find healing, empowering caregivers to protect their kids, and raising awareness around an epidemic that, in the US alone, impacts 1 in 5 children.
