Viva Glam Billion Dollar Ball Fashions

When you call yourself the Viva Glam Billion Dollar Ball, we might expect some interesting wardrobe choices among the attendees…as well as some latex. MAC Cosmetics held their annual party last Wednesday in New York City and it was attended by the likes of Winnie Harlow, Lourdes Leon, Kim Petras, and a host of others. And boy, were they dressed for the occasion.

Artist Teyana Taylor wore a metallic silver body-hugging strapless dress with zipper detailing. She matched her outfit with her fire-red long red locks.

Kim Petras, the new face of Viva Glam, took the red to an even further extreme. The German pop singer sported red locks as well, plus a form-fitting red dress with long sleeves, an equally long train, and a sexy slit. She even wore MAC red lipstick.

Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, known mostly by Lola, wore a leopard-print bustier dress. But by far her choice of shoes was the hit of her couture. The lady wore feather-adorned black peep-toe pumps featuring a marabou feather across the top.

The truly wild for the night included Susanne Bartsch, in fishnets, short black dress-bodice with high shoulders, low open front and sky-high pink and black feathers piled atop her head. Amanda Lepore went as a wild overreaching Marilyn Monroe pin-up. And make-up artist Andrew Dahling also reached for red…all red in fact. He sported a sparkly red naked torso, long latex red gloves, a tight roll-over waist and hem skirt, painting his face Kabuki white, and showing off red curly hair.

Last, but surely not least, and showcasing a solid latex style, activist and model, Munroe Bergdorf wore a purple latex gown. Curve hugging and simply sexy elegant, it was as wonderful to see latex this night (beyond Dahling’s gloves) and colorful latex at that.

MAC’s ‘Viva Glam Billion Dollar Ball,’ is a name that is surely earned.
