Saweetie, Klum, Puma and The New Cardi B

Every so often, we gather a bunch of the most recent stories that passed our notice, be they about wild fashions, something happening in the haute couture business world, or celebrity latex fashions. Below are four juicy items, featuring Saweetie, Heidi Klum, Puma and Cardi B’s new video for her song, “WAP.”

Rapper Saweetie managed what might be her boldest wardrobe display this week. As seen from photos she shared across her social media, the “Icy Grl,” singer dressed (mostly revealing herself actually) in a diamond-encrusted snake bodysuit. Accessorizing with gloves encrusted with jewels, a headpiece, and signature red-bottom Christian Louboutin heels, the 26-year-old singer gives all her diva contemporaries a run for their alternate wardrobe attempts.

Not new to sartorial statements, one might recall Saweetie debuting her collaboration with designer PrettyLittleThing at the 2020 Spring New York Fashion Week.

Posting behind-the-scene pictures alongside her co-judge Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum showed off the very best summer-is-for white (and white latex at that!) while working on “America’s Got Talent.” Klum wore a strapless white latex dress that fell to her knee, and like Saweetie, accessorized in high style. She coordinated her latex wardrobe with 5-inch white pointed-toe pumps, and an anklet.

Speaking of summer. Puma just ‘dropped’ a candy-colored sneaker line called Puma Rise Tie-Dye Sneakers. With lace fronts, ‘springy’ insole, and the array of colors presented, Puma is brightening what for most everyone so far, has been a very trying summer.

Resplendent with so many amazingly sexy costume and wardrobe pieces we can’t rightly explore it fully at the end of this blog (we will do so first thing next week!) Cardi B’s newly ‘dropped’ video for her song “WAP” is a naughty wonder to behold. Featuring surprise cameos and a certainly naughty lyric, the outfits Cardi and her guests wear and the imaginatively colorful and skewed set designs (plus the animals) are eye-opening wild and push the genre to new heights.

More on it and other stories next week.
