Art Meso: LA GENÈSE NEW YORK This Weekend

Excited to be making my return to NYC, and with latex couture to boot, the Art Meso: LA GENÈSE NEW YORK show that we blogged about last week (see here) couldn’t be more fun. It’s been seven years since my last visit to Manhattan, and it’s great to be in the middle of this city’s hustle and bustle that is quite unlike any other.

To reiterate, the show, which has its premiere this Saturday, runs through August 8th, with its schedule of Wednesday & Thursday: 1-6 pm, Friday & Saturday: 1-9 pm, and Sunday: 1-6 pm. See here for more info.

Here is a further description of the event from the info page above:

“This artistic expression of passages from the book of Genesis is full of majestic, euphoric, and exhilarating experiences of the Arts. Enter into an Enchantment of beauty, art, imagination, creativity, and fashion. An Illuminating exhibit immersed in art and fashion from designers and artists from Spain, Atlanta, Trinidad, New York, Singapore, and many more in a museum-style setting.”

We are thrilled to be one of the designers representing the U.S., with the show happening here in the U.S.

Artist and designer Jennifer Sutton is the founder of Art Meso. Her work with this organization has been featured on Channel 11 Alive, Fox News, Good Day Atlanta, USA Today, and many more. In 2017, Art Meso received a proclamation from the City of Atlanta proclaiming that October 7th is Art Meso Day.

Jennifer has also been connected with Hosea Feed the Hungry, Make-A-Wish Georgia and quite a few others, conducting live art exhibits for these organizations. It is no surprise then that Art Meso La Genèse benefits Saprea, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping survivors of child sexual abuse find healing, empowering caregivers to protect their kids, and raising awareness around an epidemic that, in the U.S. alone, impacts 1 in 5 children. Go here to see more about them.

We will certainly be posting a report post the show, but if you can get around to coming through and see the designs at the space at 1155 Avenue of Americas in NYC’s Times Square, we know you’ll just love this unique fashion exhibition.
