Wedding Bells (And Bespoke Gowns) We Saw This Week

Dawnamtarix knows the world of weddings well from the many bespoke latex wedding gowns we have created through the years. Brides have even come to us plucking their wedding dresses right from the Bridal section of our catalog. Any way we can provide the best dress for a bride’s special day, we are happy to do so. Given this, wedding couture and weddings in general always interest us. And just this week, there was a bunch of weddings, and dresses, that we took notice of.

You might have, as well.

This past weekend billionaire oil heiress Ivy Getty tied-the-knot. Turned out in a bespoke John Galliano gown, this lady’s wedding was held in the rotunda of San Francisco’s historic Beaux-Arts building.

Less well-known, but certainly just as eye-catching in her own way, Kenna Kaufman held her ‘minimony’ this week, having forgone the wedding dress she was going to wear for her COVID pared-down affair. She wore a Galia Lahav gown matched with a see-thru corset, a startling and sexy alternative couture spin on the usual wedding gown.

Sporting the “Hey, bitches, look who’s getting married” tagline, Paris Hilton might be the stand-out bride of the year. Her Paris in Love ‘docuseries’, which began streaming on the Peacock service this week, follows the Hilton reality star as she prepares for her wedding, which happened just yesterday at her late grandfather’s Bel-Air property. Although there had been lots of speculation over who Paris would be wearing on her special day, she was married in a custom-made Oscar de la Renta gown.

And lastly, in wedding news, but for a ceremony that has yet to happen, Britney Spears seems to be enjoying her conservatorship freedom in a multitude of ways. In addition to all the changes coming to the “Toxic” singer, Britney is set to marry personal trainer Sam Asghari and this week revealed that Donatella Versace will design her gown.
