“Put a new spin on the matching set with high-shine diamonds in luxurious cuts and classic cuts that will leave everyone else wearing dust,” is the caption written for this picture featured in Interview magazine this month; the model here is wearing a latex accessory of a Dawnamatrix hood. This marks the 4th time for us appearing in Interview. Kylie Jenner did us proud in a 2015 December issue paying homage to the infamous Allen Jones “Hatstand, Table, and Chair.” Kylie posed in our socks, a harness, ‘cheeky skirt,’ gloves and collar in photos taken by Steven Klein with the shoot styled by Karl Templer. In that same year, also in Interview, our haute couture was seen on models in a collage called “In The Air” shot by Fabien Baron and styled by Karl Temper. And we made the German Interview in 2014 as well.
All of these placements of our wardrobe pieces in Interview, as well as in any other magazine, T.V. show, runway…anywhere, certainly means a lot to us.
There was some speculation a few years ago that magazines might just become extinct. We have all certainly seen the actual size of some magazines shrinking to save in printing costs and yes, quite a few have gone belly-up in the last few years. But it seems those magazines reporting on culture, fashion especially, still have a life among the public. Certainly one gets the full range of the model/style/photographic experience in a Vogue, or a GQ, and of course one of the biggest and best (and big in actual size for sure) Interview magazine.
This is not surprising seeing as Interview was created by cultural photographer icon Andy Warhol.
Alongside gloves from Balenciaga, Tiffany & Co. necklace and bracelets, and top by Tome, all on model Sarah Brannon, we are once again thrilled to be part of Interview magazine. See the magazine page here: https://www.interviewmagazine.com/fashion/full-throttle/
