Dressing (and changing) for a video shoot for her new single “High Off My Love” the 33 year old heir-turned-celeb Paris Hilton donned quite a few naughty outfits (5 in fact) and several wigs in L.A. last week. ‘The Kids’ stylists Sammy & Judy selected the looks Paris sported in the hot L.A. sun, styles that were labeled fetish, ‘dominatrix wear’ and downright naughty across the blogosphere and newspapers the past few days.
Being in the fantasy dress business, having donned a few outfits yourself, we’d probably be in agreement that Paris’ outfits weren’t so very domtastic (see the pic above) but they were sexy for sure and the lady did look good in what she was wearing.
Really, what is dom, sexy, fetish really? Any descriptive word is subjective, one man’s lusted-over dom outfit is another woman’s Sunday best. But when a ‘star’ (and we use that word subjectively for sure) of Paris Hilton’s caliber wears and subsequently tweet pics of herself in black, cross-crossed tops, leg slits up to her stomach and generally baring lots of skin people get to talking. The lady’s striking dark eyes and red lips by make-up artist Etienne Ortega and long wigs of platinum styled by Clyde Haygood also added to the looks of the day to be sure.
We feel our Dragon Lady Dress or a Glitterazzi Dress would get across a nice dom feel (If you work your ‘tude right when wearing them) and if you are looking for a halter akin to what Paris is sporting our Textured Bodice will do the trick.
But as with anything you wear it is the attitude one dares that makes the scare…no?
“High Off My Love” was choreographed by Pussycat Dolls’ Robin Antin, directed by Hannah Lux Davis and Paris shelled out a $300 for each model extra’s 12 hour day.
