Have you ever wanted to be, or are you now, a latex or alternative fashion model? The organizers of Vancouver Fetish Weekend have issued a call for models for their headline fashion show. The big fashion reveal runway event is part of the city’s largest annual gathering of kink, fashion, and alternative art, and you can be part of it all!
The festival returns between July 24 through 28th. There are alt. fun events planned all across Vancouver, with the fashion show happening Saturday night, part of the 11th anniversary Fetish Ball. We have attended this fantastic meeting-of-the-like-minded-&- attired (see here) and can attest that it is a great time!
There a limited volunteer spots open for models, with all genders and levels of experience considered. Those wishing to apply, need to send their measurements (in centimeters), a photo, and availability for fittings and rehearsal to evilyn13news@gmail.com. Potential models also need to include a link to their website/ Instagram. Additionally, you should note if you have previous fashion show experience, and if you would be willing to wear a mask or hood for this modeling job.
Models selected will receive one staff pass. This pass covers entry to all the VFW events. The complete schedule of these Vancouver Fetish Weekend includes:
- Thursday, July 24: Meet-and-greet social
- Friday, July 25: Candyland-themed ball
- Saturday, July 26: Fetish Ball + Kurage Latex runway
- Sunday, July 27: Fetish Cruise (nearly sold out)
- Monday, July 28: Decompression beach day
This year the VFW is shifting venues for its main event (they are actually returning to a spot they had been before). The 11-Year Anniversary Fetish Ball on Saturday, July 26 will be held at AURUM EVENT CENTRE, which has been renovated and renamed. The organizers promise a bigger, kinkier and wildly fashion festive experience this year than ever before.
