Pamela Anderson ONce Again

It might not have been latex, but it was still damn sexy. And worn by a sure icon who has always been damn sexy.

Pamela Anderson, walking the red carpet for the premiere of her upcoming Netflix documentary Pamela: A Love Story, strutted into the paparazzi this week wearing a tight red dress. The color of this skintight wardrobe harkened back to her icon one-piece ‘Baywatch’ swimsuit.

Anderson has been seen out and about most recently to turn attention to the new documentary as well as to promote her new memoir Love, Pamela. The film and the book were released yesterday.

Canadian-born Pamela Denise Anderson has had the world’s attention for decades. As much from her Playboy Magazine appearances (she holds the record for appearing on the cover of the magazine 14 times). Her role as Lisa on the U.S. sitcom Home Improvement. And surely, her star-making turn as “C.J.” Parker on Baywatch. Along the way, she made movies, got married a few times (notoriously to Tommy Lee, from whom she has two sons), and just came off a run in Broadway’s Chicago.

Anderson is also a well-known animal rights activist.

This is a lady who has undoubtedly held the world in the palm of her hand from her celebrity, sex tape mudslinging, and her professional moments before the camera. And for any fan, it is as much that famous red swimsuit as all the other alt. fashions she has wiggled into over her career that excite. From the black leather bustier, fishnets, choker, and boots she rocked in the title role in Barb Wire. Anderson seen out and about in a curve-hugging black dress held together by paper-clip appliques. Marrying Tommy Lee in Cancun, Mexico, dressed in an all-white bikini, complete with tiara and veil. At one award show wearing a diamante-encrusted two-piece or arriving at another, the 1990 MTV’s VMA’s, under a giant pink furry hat.

And the slinky dresses and heels she had to dress in for her Broadway debut.

Certainly, we will see this lady in ever-more interesting couture, promoting her new film and book…and beyond. We should never count Pamela Anderson out.
