How ‘Back To School’ Starts The Season Of Latex Couture

Even a casual latex fashionista parent finds it hard to keep their attention on anything but back-to-school concerns come August. Sure, with the Bluey movie teaser trotted out by Disney at the D23 fan event last week, your kids might not exactly be thinking about school (unless they are already back to it), but if you have school-aged kids, school swag, outfits and supplies are front of mind these days. And while surely our kids come first, you can sneak a moment to consider the ‘school year’ ahead in relation to how you might next dress in your favorite textile.

Stepping into even the smallest retail stores, you are no doubt seeing how the overall fall season is piggybacking on the new school year. Halloween is looming (yes, even now!), as there always seems to be a rush to get to the next holiday even on the heels of one already in progress. Surely, every year we offer a few blogs about costuming and latex, but if you are looking to jump the gun—beyond dressing maybe in a classic horror couture costume—one way you can prepare (yes, even now!) is to keep your basic black latex pieces ready, lubed, and hung well for All Hallows.

Not wanting to get too far ahead, you might also consider the big family get-togethers of the December holidays as surely part of the first half of the school year. Beyond Thanksgiving—where you might want to forget wearing latex considering how stuffed you might be—bright latex colors are surely your friend for the most festive times of year.

Lastly, if you are an adult indeed attending school this next month, might we suggest some cute and comfy latex outfits? Surely you will be the talk of your college quad walking around in latex accessories like knee highs or a basic belt, as well as in a simple latex polo.

Get the little ones outfitted, safe and secure, and even though you might not be going back to school, you still have plenty of latex dressing to consider this season.
