Kardashians, Jenners and A Miami Mistress

Three separate latex couture reports sparked our attention this week. One from a well-known personality we have seen wear our favorite textile many times before. Another from her stepsister adding to her successful clothing line. And the last from a lady trying to impress her desire in her county, hoping her wardrobe choice will win the day.

First, there was Kylie Jenner in a curve-hugging black latex dress from Italian designer 1017 Alyx 9Sm. The label’s “PBC Long Dress” is actually made from shiny black latex and features an open décolletage neck and tan sash. Accessorizing with short boots, a black clutch, and black sunglasses, Jenner looked super stylish attending the bar mitzvah of her nephew Mason Disick.

Jenner’s half-sister, Kim Kardashian, who we know loves latex clothing, is launching a New Year’s Collection for her popular SKIMS brand that features latex garments. Kim’s new line features leggings, mini-skirt, thong, and bralette, among the new items available in onyx, bronze, and what the company calls their grey “cement.”

And according to the Miami Herald, our second arresting latex look was revealed in public with great aplomb when a trio of ladies entered a Fort Lauderdale commission meeting this week dressed in latex suits. Two women who flanked the third were wearing faux biker helmets with reflective fronts with their see-thru-topped bodysuits and corsets. The woman in the middle of the group, encased in her own shiny latex with a cut out for her mouth, told the assembled to call her “mistress.” She had come to the meeting that day asking for money to build a fetish dungeon to “support doms and subs in Broward County.”

“I look forward to spanking each and every single one of you at the new, esteemed dungeon,” Mistress said. “You are dismissed.”

For a party, to sell, or seemingly now to address a council meeting, latex couture never disappoints.
