PART ONE-Halloween 2026: Streaming Shows and Music Stars

Culling through the latex, lace, PVC, and just about every other textile possibility that could be used to create this year’s Halloween costumes (or accessories), we’ve looked around a bit at what might be trending. From blog spots like Halloweentools, to Variety weighing in as well as one of the many online costume shops, here is part 1 of the list of what our friends, family, fellow All Hallow’s partiers, and you might be slipping into come the end of the month.

As we well know, even the most casual cosplayer is influenced by what’s streaming and being shown on broadcast T.V. If one considers the popularity of shows like “The Pitt” or “Heated Rivalry,” then we are sure to see our share of hockey jerseys and scrubs coming our way for Halloween 2026. It has also been noted by Variety, of a new bushes costume, referencing the bushes seen during the mainstream broadcast of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.

We are sure we’ll all see plenty of folks wearing some of the many outfits the characters from the mega-popular “Euphoria,” wore. From ‘Maddy’ in her Agent Provocateur Black-O-Ring One-Piece Swimsuit (a simple black latex bodysuit will set one on their way to this look) to lace bustier mini dresses Cassie strutted around in, to even going ‘full puppy’ cosplay as she did in that controversial outfit she wore at the start of the season: brown bodysuit, dog ears, collar, and leash.

The onstage outfits of musicians are always a good bet for any of us to pick from. From a Sabrina Carpenter pastel mini dress and chunky platforms, to recreating Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead” video look of a babydoll-style top, knit knee-high socks, and retro pink headphones, to slipping into the type of red shorts Harry Styles wears in his “Dance No More” video.

Let’s not forget we lost superstar diva songwriter/singer/musician Dolly Parton all too recently. Expect lots of rhinestones, lots of extra-large stuffed tops and long blonde tresses, on folks of all genders, paying tribute to Dolly out and out this Halloween. And don’t be surprised if you see a few people marrying T.V. and diva costumes by stepping out in some classic recreation of a Bob Mackie, here and there. The mega icon fashion designer of Cher, Elton John, Carol Burnett, and so many others died like Dolly P. last month.

In Part 2, up next, we will tackle the great big world of DC and Marvel in superhero costumes and some of the classics.
