Couture & Cars Fashion Show, 2018

For two years in a row now, we have had such a wonderful time showing our latex couture and meeting such fantastic people, at one of the premier mix cultural events, the Couture & Cars Fashion Show. Sure, we all know how sleek cars and sexy models have become a staple in our culture, more or less from the 50’s on up. But this show, held for the 2nd year at the LeMay-America’s Car Museum, set the whole idea of cars and fashion to a whole other level.

With the designers of both clothing and jewelry showing this day and models walking through the middle of all those incredible cars, once again I can humbly declare that Dawnamatrix has never been involved in a show quite like this. Add to the fact that this year the show was sold out, with five hundred people on hand, the C&C was the event to attend.

We presented our new collection of laser cut designs inspired by fractals and tessellations, called “The New Flesh.” Showcasing the outfits in bold contrasting colors, we were so thrilled how wonderful our outfits looked on our models walking the runaway framed by the BMW motorsports exhibition, “Heroes of Bavaria.”

Our new designs will be available through Dawnamatrix.com in the coming month.

The jewelry by AnnxAnnxDesigns, seen on the models who walked this day, was the added special touch to all the haute couture, be it latex or anything else.

Being able to take our time after the show to mingle and meet people on the outside balcony of the LeMay, and also at our booth upstairs in the vendor space, just brought us that much closer to all the wonderful people who came out to support the museum, classic cars, alternate couture and accessories, and textile art.

We send a special thank you to the Cars & Couture producer, Fashion District, NW.

It really was a great time!
