Bruce Is Out, Caitlyn Jenner Is “In”

It’s official. Once you land an Annie Leibovitz Vanity Fair cover, you might as well know you have as much made your high couture stripes as you are going to be seen throughout the mainstream news. As had been indicated last week Leibovitz shot the first ever Bruce Jenner post transformation shots for an upcoming summer issue of Vanity Fair. The picture of that cover, a stunner, has been released today across the blog’o world, with the issue to appear on newsstands June 9th.

Caitlyn Jenner, the ‘her’ Bruce Jenner referred to in his now infamous Diana Sawyer interview, is poised with her well-toned arms slightly back behind her, sitting on a stool in what appears to be a vanilla bustier and high waisted panty, with flowing brown locks and confident stare, looking pretty much like a woman much younger then we all Jenner to be. There’s a lot more pictures inside Vanity Fair, copious amounts of cleavage and leg shown, as Caitlyn surely embraces her full transformation in wonderful aplomb.

As Caitlyn said to writer Buzz Bissinger, in what is her first interview as a woman:

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.” This explanation pretty much echoes Bruce’s reason for undergoing the transformation when Diane Sawyer asked why he was going through this all at 67.

An 8-part docu-series premiers this summer chronicling Bruce Jenner’s change to Caitlyn, as much focusing on the last stages of man to woman for Jenner as the social world he then she deals with.

This Vanity Fair cover and article are well timed indeed for what is sure to be a Caityln Jenner-filled summer.

In a true sign-of-the-times Jenner tweeted for the first time under @Caitlyn_Jenner moments after the cover went live.
