Super colorful cars of sleek styling and sexy latex outfits, how can you go wrong? On July 22nd at the LeMay America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, WA, Dawnamatrix presents our latest collection, inspired by classic styles in bright automotive colors, in a great big celebration with classic cars.
The 2017 Cars & Couture Fashion Show, presented by Architech at the LeMay will showcase six couture designers (Dream Dresses by PMN, Gustavo Apiti Couture, Lisa Marie Couture, MiMi Wolfe and us) from around the northwest, as well as all those hot vehicles. Surely not the usual runaway experience where we show our wares, still Dawnamatrix is so looking forward to getting out at this event. Color in our costume design, in our sheet latex, in our approach to everything we create is so important. We love how this event will pay extra special attention to this particular aspect of our textile art, with a fashion/car show as much focused on color as design.
There will be a live DJ spinning among all our booths and the red carpet and runaway laid out for the show. There will also be a pre-show photo opp, with the event doors opening at 6:30, seating at 7Pm and the show starting at 7:15. Non-fashion sponsors for the day-beyond Architech-include Essentia Water, South Sound Magazine, Noose Yoghurt and many more.
This country’s youth culture was basically built on hot girls, hotrod cars, and the sexy sleek sensibility of rock and roll. Ever-changing styles in hair, make-up and dress influenced generations. Seeing how latex is becoming so mainstream it’s no surprise to encounter the marriage of great American institutions that the 2017 Cars & Couture Fashion Show represents.
