A latex catsuit, (and plenty of other fashions in a new video), Nicole Kidman’s gam, and Madonna bouncing back post her outfits going missing at Coachella, all make this little news round up.
Speaking about The Devil Wears Prada 2 as we did last time (and a few blogs before) have you seen Lady Gaga and Doechii’s official video for the song “Runway” from the film’s soundtrack? Wow, talk about an array of wild fashions! In the Parris Goebel-directed music video we see the singers in a wild bespoke ‘twin suit.’ Gaga dressed in a blue and white, floral ceramic vase-like top, courtesy of Daniel del Vall, a look first seen at London Fashion Week this year. Doechii revealing quite a bit of herself quite a few times in her Harris Reed cutaway cage bustier and open hoop skirt. And the ladies getting up close, wearing full Gaurav Gupta Couture bodysuits (with hoods); Gaga in a while one with pearls and crystals, Doechii in all black, sporting metal studs and black spikes. Each of these pieces took 800 manhours to create.
And we also get to see Gaga in a scrumptious red latex catsuit under a giant custom Thom Solo red crocodile shoe with its signature pitchfork heel.
For her latest “Vogue China” cover, Nicole Kidman proves to all that her shapely leg revealed in the sky-high slit of a black Chanel gown can make news. She claims across the interview in the magazine, “I feel that if you just fixate on aging, you end up setting too many boundaries for yourself. It‘s much better to just keep trying things, keep up with the times, be brave, and stay excited for whatever is coming next.”
After turning up at Coachella just recently to share the stage with Sabrina Carpenter we might really be seeing lots of Madonna. In a secret party held in West Hollywood, at The Abbey, unveiling her new album “Confessions II”, Miss Madge danced to new tracks from her new release, including the single, “I Feel So Free.” She was wearing a soft corset of pink, the same color lace-trimmed mini, a blush-colored veil, fishnets, black leather thigh-high boots, and sheer gloves.
Her outfits going missing at Coachella didn’t seem to slow Madonna down any.
