Yes, Montreal Fetish Weekends is upon us again (it actually is the weekend of 8/27). We’ve mentioned it a few times already but round Dawnamatrix way we think about and work towards each MFW pretty much not so long after the last one ends. Premiering our new line as we have now for four years at the weekend, this get together of the fun and fabulous fashionista fetsh-y proves a wonderful time for us as we frolic, work and most of all party in the host hotel right off of Ste-Catherine and in the very welcoming downtown area (the MFW is actually a sanctioned international cultural event in the city!)
The above teaser image/official poster from this year’s 10th annual MFW shows a model posing in our Galaxy Catsuit. And you will also see a snippet of‘’grid material’ texturing below that is part of this years’ line. Pretty much this follows what our new line is about, boasting influences from the sci-fi and fantasy genres we find the past collides with the future in the rich textures, shining scrumptious surfaces and bold techniques of our new pieces. Included in the new line are men’s casual and formal-wear, women’s gowns, separates and lingerie…all the yummy latex creations you’d expect from us, but in a wholly new collection with lots of surprises and fetish fantasy couture twists.
The new line’s name will be revealed in a few weeks and the actual line released Saturday 8/30 at our runway appearance at MFW. And as have we’ve done now for four years, we will also be collaborating with international models and photographers on photo shoots and participating in the Fetish Photo Walk, an organized stroll around Montreal that sees hundreds of the weekend’s attendees enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Montreal. The residents of Montreal are very welcoming and curious so the walk, as is the entire weekend, is a very positive fun experience.
