Out of all the award shows we try to cover, looking for latex couture or some unique red carpet alternative wardrobe, the BET Awards never disappoint. The annual show, (the 21st of this particular show happening in 2021!) was held this past Sunday night. It proved to be a costume/wardrobe extravaganza we can’t help but comment about.
Although Cynthia Erivo’s shoes were, without a doubt, fantastic, alternative, and probably more than slightly dangerous to walk in, Laura Dern certainly brought her A-game when it came to her shoe wear. Wearing a tailored Givenchy pantsuit/tux, the Twin Peaks/Big Little Lies actress accessorized in pumps with sharp pointy toes and metallic silver studs all around them.
Not so much latex, but plenty of lingerie can be seen—and drooled over—in Ariana Grande’s new music video for her 34+35 Remix. Featuring Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion alongside her, the trio of modern-day divas brings intimate couture to a whole other level, leaving their fans, as well as even causal fashionistas, breathless.
