And if you have time to slip in and out of your catsuit or pants, you might also consider letting your hair ‘down’ in the unique way Margot Robbie did at the London premiere of her Wuthering Heights remake last week. Last week, Robbie proved she could rock a whole different ‘naked dress’ ensemble. Walking into the London premiere of Wuthering Heights, the 35-year-old superstar actress wore a bespoke Dilara Findikoglu gown featuring braided strands of hair crisscrossing her front, framing her bust, and cinching her waist. The dress’s exposed ‘spine’ was made from woven hair lacing as well.
22 packets of 24-inch hair were used to create Robbie’s dress.
The hirsute connection was a nod to the Brontë sisters, specifically to a bracelet worn by Charlotte Brontë, sister of the author of Wuthering Heights, Emily. With her startling dress, Robbie also wore a replica of that bracelet to the London premiere, an accessory that was actually created, in part, with hair from both Emily and Anne.
Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner took to Instagram wearing a low-plunging bra entirely covered in red pomegranate seeds. The pomegranate bra was part of a promotional campaign for Kylie Cosmetics; Kylie’s company just launched a new pomegranate-flavored and pomegranate-shaded lip butter. Kylie paired the highly antioxidant fruit top with a sheer, see thru (naked again) skin-toned dress. The reaction mostly from fans was as much delight as wonderment how indeed Kylie’s fruit bra stayed in place.
Sydney Sweeney
As we reported here, Syndey Sweeney launched her new lingerie line a day after her stunt of dangling bras from the iconic Hollywood sign. SYRN has seen a rush of orders, with her pieces now on a waitlist.
Last week, on February 3rd to be exact, Syndey ‘dropped’ her “Somewhere Only We Know” collection for Valentine’s Day. The actress posed for a bunch of photos showing off the pieces (see above)….not that any of us should have doubted she’d do so.
