You might recall the intersection of our latex accessories and the Latin Grammy’s. Back in 2018, Pit Bull’s backing dancers were seen performing with the singer wearing our latex thigh highs. This year at the 2024 Latin Grammys there was no latex to be seen, but there were some great wardrobe choices for the night.
As we see every year, maybe even with every award show, there are style trends celebrities seem to take to above anything else. Currently, the trend for women’s gowns is corsets, and this year, Clarissa Molina wore a cream-colored corset over a long sparking fitted gown with long sleeves, Goyo wore a red leather corset dress, and Anitta wore a white lace corset gown.
There were also lots of bedazzling styles shown last night…maybe this is another trend?
Becky G was in a white mesh gown, featuring a long train with big silver metallic accents. Emilia wore a dazzling silver dress. Joe Jonas was in a gray-and-white suit, splashed with silver beads on the shoulders and silver beading down the side of the pants. Like Emilia, Maria Becerra was in a sparkly silver gown with a sexy side cut-out and high slit. Michelle Galván wore a short feathery silver gown, and Angela Aguilar wore a cream-colored one that had long thin silver strips running down it.
And tes, there was color.
Kat Graham was in three tone brown. Nathy Peluso wore a red gown with a scooped flower pedal. And Carlos Ponce wore a blue suit, while Karol G was in an equally blue tunic dress with an open front and high slit.
The most alternative wardrobe seems to be a toss-up, at least from what we surveyed, between, actress/singer Evaluna Montaner in a smokey see-thru wrap-around dress (she looked like she was stepping through storm clouds) and model Águeda López’s gold diamond patterned barely-there dress with the dresses front panels exposing, lots of this sexy lady’s real estate.
Yes, the Latin Grammy’s does not dissapoint.
