Sydney Sweeney Out Of Her jeans, Showing Off Her Genes

As we said at the time, it’s not like Sydney Sweeney was strutting around in some sexy latex couture. But the “Euphoria” star debuted one of the most-talked-about commercials in recent discussion, with her American Eagle “genes” and “jeans” tagline heard around the world. And, as we see this week, there is no stopping good genes/jeans as a new video has dropped showing S.S. heading the new Jimmy Choo fall collection.

In what the brand calls a “modern fable of feminine expression; a celebration of the transformative power shoes and accessories possess,” Sweeney takes the viewer through three personas. She is seen at a ballet bar working through some moves, dressed as a businesswoman taking an office apart, and as an actress studying a script called “The Last Call.” The three characters she portrays, Ines, Bar, and Scarlett, embody each scene, with Sweeney showing off a range of designer footwear, from stilettos, sling backs, and Choo’s buttermilk leather Hart Knee Boot 85 boots.

Those boots, paired with the leotard, is the most startling look among them all we feel (see above).

In a behind-the-scenes shot where Sweeney reads “Radion Control Car Action,” magazine (the press about the commercial claims it’s her favorite read) she also wears a pair of chunky loafers with bling across their front.

A sure cultural force all her own now (as well as starring in The Rolling Stones’ “Angry” video) Sweeney is surely growing into a one-woman marketing property. This new add marks her second go-round with Choo, but the young woman has lent herself to many a product maker. She is also starring in the upcoming biopic about female boxer Christy Martin titled “Christy,” the film “The Housemaid,” and will return to HBO for a third season of the series that put her on the cultural map, “Euphoria.”

We will surely being seeing lots more of Sydney Sweeney’s good genes for a long time to come, in or out of jeans…and even shoes, now it seems.
