Another month, another fashion/culture round-up…this time we have four latex outfits to report about, some more Devis Wears Prada 2 news, and a consideration of latex.
The Devil Wears Prada 2…Posters
If you haven’t yet had enough of all the press for “The Devil Wears Prada 2” movie, here you can get a glimpse at three of the main character posters. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt are featured in the picture linked above, but the movie’s cast also includes returning Stanley Tucci, as well as some new faces, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, and Justin Theroux.
The film opens on May 1st.
Off Stage With Addison Rae
Addison Rae’s performance at the Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo, for Lollapalooza Brazil, supposedly drew over 100,000. On stage, the “Diet Pepsi” singer rocked a sequined bra top and fringe skirt. But these pictures from our friends at WearLatex.com show the singer being driven around (or just posing in the passenger seat of a car?) wearing a slinky light blue latex sheath, and sneaking nude thigh highs.
And More Latex At the MOBO Awards
All-girl trio FLO were dressed in an array of colors (silver, red, and black) and styles (corset fronts, long skirts), each in a latex gown, for their appearance and win, at this year’s MOBO Awards. The 28th edition of these awards honors achievements in black music, and so many deserving winners came to the stage to accept their accolades; FLO won for Best R&B/Soul act.
Just Give Us Lace This Spring?
And lastly…just when you thought it might be too early (or you have been chomping at the bit these past months) UK’s Metro has your answer for what’s the biggest fashion trend for this spring (see here). Of course, we counter that it has to be, always will be, and should forever be, latex. But Metro is championing lace, which, of course, can always be worn with latex.
