All fashion, be it latex wardrobe, high-end ‘streetwear, ‘ or haute couture modeled at the current Paris Fashion Week, is cyclic. Trends come and go. If one hangs around long enough, even the most casual fashionista will recognize some styles returning again and again. From haircuts to shoe wear to wardrobe, all that is old is new again in the changes that come and go to our styles.
The same seems to be true for PLAYBOY magazine. Slipping into what the public thought at the time was the magazine’s final iteration as a web-only publication five years ago, we have all been hearing the rumbling of a print return to the famous men’s magazine. Now it has been revealed that not only is the new PLAYBOY hitting stands on February 10th, but that model/businesswoman Lori Harvey will grace its cover.
Harvey just posted a video and pictures to her Instagram that show her wearing a latex bodysuit in some of the Playboy-related shots. How great is this? An iconic magazine returns, sporting a young and powerful female entrepreneur on its cover, and she is wearing latex advertising it all.
In some of the provocative shots, Lori shows off her G-string in a backless gown, and in another she leans back on a 1960 MGA convertible, wearing that high-cut black latex bodysuit. Spreading her legs to show off her over-the-knee boots featuring black feathers, the model/skincare line owner reveals a license plate below her with PLAYBOY written across it.
The post is titled “PLAYBOY returns to print with Lori Harvey on the cover. Preorder today. On stands 02.10.25,”
How much of this bodysuit or what other clothes Harvey wears or doesn’t wear (remember this is PLAYBOY) will we all have to see in a few weeks. But we can certainly hope the shots so far revealed of the lady wearing latex are only a tease of what we will see of her and our favorite textile.
