As much as here in the US, where Dawnamatrix Designs is located, as ‘across the pond,’ and the EU, this past couple of weeks have seen plenty of celebrities out and about (or in magazines) showing off in latex couture.
There was UK reality star Ella Morgan wearing a curve-hugging black latex dress with a strap buckle halter top, accessorizing with black opera-length gloves at the Pink News Awards. The Pink Awards, created by UK-based queer online news portal PinkNews, “celebrates world-leading progressive thinking and queer culture across entertainment, politics, sport, and business,” enjoyed its 10th anniversary on October 18th. Morgan has the distinction, surely celebrated at these awards, as being the “Married at First Site UK,” show’s first trans contestant.
TV presenter AJ Odudu showed herself in a cutout bodysuit with a dozen perfectly placed panels across its torso and uplifting bra cups. This lanky, beautiful lady of color wore latex on the opening of the British version of “Big Brother,” as well as wearing bespoke latex on the UK’s “Comic Relief,” show to name just a few times she has stepped out in our favorite textile. This most recent latex reveal from Odudu was for the cover of Gay Times Magazine and she looks stunning.
Just before the Pink News Awards, the 12th annual Attitude Awards were held (also in the UK). Co-host of the show Amanda Holden showed off in a popular Barbicore pink-colored sheath latex dress. Holden is a UK media personality, singer, and actress, most presently known for being a judge on the country’s “Britain’s Got Talent” show.
Lastly, traveling to Italy, an American celebrity wearing latex, Kourtney Kardashian-Barker, is featured on the present front cover of Vanity Fair Italia. The Kardashian sister wore a black latex bra and mid-length latex gloves, showing all that moms-to-be can surely wear latex very well indeed.
