It’s understandable when we wear latex couture any of us could be quite taken with how we look in the various wardrobe choices our favorite textile allows. From the curve-hugging of a latex catsuit to a naughty piece of latex lingerie, accessorizing with gloves, hats, or a mask, latex can truly elevate one’s style — and sexiness.
It seems Kim Kardashian felt the same this week. The uber-popular reality show personality was spotted at Paris Fashion Week over the past few days sporting not one, but two latex outfits. And what’s more, when wearing the second, Kim was caught on her phone Googling herself wearing the first, from the day before.
Kim was on hand at the famous fashion week to walk in the Balenciaga show. There’s a lot to ‘unpack’ as they say between K.K. and the label. Three years ago, Balenciaga engendered a bunch of controversy with an ad showing kids posing with BDSM-themed items; two years later Kim was named the label’s brand ambassador after a long association with Balenciaga. And although she denounced that ad, Kim has walked runways for the brand and remains the label’s ambassador.
In Paris, just a few days ago, she walked the runway for the brand once again on July 9th.
Ahead of the show, Kim was seen out at night in a form-fitting pink latex dress. The next day she was seen in a similar outfit, colored white. But in a picture that went viral, Kim was seen walking in that white latex dress among her bodyguards, with her phone in hand. The picture a paparazzi caught revealed that on Kim’s cell phone was a picture, of Kim, wearing that pink latex dress from the night before.
It seems Kim was Googling herself at the time. Comparing the outfits? Checking how great she looked? Searching for how many posts of herself she could find? Who cares? Either way…she looked great!
