Having not yet premiered (it does on Nov 4th), we really have no idea what latex couture, if any, we might see on the new Hulu series “All’s Fair.” But as we have read from the show’s costume designer Paula Bradley looking to reimagine “the lawyer aesthetic with tailored silhouettes, statement accessories, and confident, modern flair,” and seeing what stars Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor, (to name but a few), have been wearing to premiers of the show (see here) we might hope for a sure peek or two of our favorite textile in all the alt. and high couture during the lady lawyer series run.
For instance, just this week at the London premier of the series, Kim Kardashian (studying for a law degree, it might be noted) and Teyana Taylor both ‘went goth.” The ladies were dressed in tight black corset dresses. Teyana wore a leather dress designed by Tamara Ralph. Kim was dressed in a Dilara Findikolu leather dress from the designer’s upcoming “Cage of Innocence” collection. She accessorized with black latex boots.
Then, on Friday, Kim appeared on “The Graham Norton Show” rocking more latex than just boots. She appeared on the lively talk show wearing a nude latex dress over white lace. She also announced on the show that “I will be qualified in two weeks. I hope to practice law.”
It surely might not be ‘fair’ at all, but in addition to the above, we’d be remiss if we did not report, as close as we are now to the 31st, the latest peek we were all afforded of Heidi Klum’s costume for this year. At the beginning of the month, she posted several photos of a 3D mask mounted on a metal background, with the caption, “This is just the beginning.” The sneak peek she gave us all last Friday was of the same color plaster mold of what seemed to be Heidi’s bare back and bottom. She captioned the picture “Feeling cheeky,” tagging prosthetic makeup designer Mike Marino.
Marino has been helping make Heidi’s Halloween visions into reality.
Yes, Friday is the big day for Heidi and us all.
