If she did nothing else, ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2026 commentator Roselyn Sánchez brought in the New Year with an undeniable look of her undeniably fantastic figure in some undeniably scrumptious latex couture. The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, dancer, model (etc.) was featured in two equally stunning dresses across the broadcast. She was poured into an off-the-shoulder mini made of what seemed to be the outer shell of mirror disco ball (see below). But it was her first outfit, a tulip- shaped purple latex gown sporting a long train and open front that specifically rocked our New Year.
Bouncing from stages in New York (the main one where Ryan Seacrest and co-host Rita Ora broadcast from and the iconic ‘ball’ dropped), Las Vegas, Chicago, and lastly Puerto Rico where Sánchez was, an array of musical guests were offered across the many hours of the New Year’s celebration; the talent on the show included Diana Ross, Ciara, LE SSERAFIM, and more.
The cold in New York City’s Time Square kept Seacrest and Ora well bundled, as it almost always does. And performers on the high stage erected for the night, suffer through the usual blistery East Coast wintry mix, often slipping quickly out of overcoats to dance while lip syncing their big hit of the day (icon Diana Ross rolled through a few hits, in a ruby red gown with matching robe). But when it came to the warmth of Sánchez’s location, the lady could show much more of the wonderful outfits she wore so well.

Here is a Facebook post of her behind-the-scenes in both outfits.
Roselyn Sánchez is no stranger to making news with her fashion sense. Winning the Miss Puerto Rico Petite title in 1993 and a year later Miss American Petite many of the early outfits she wore were handmade by her mother. She has launched her “RS by Roselyn Sanchez” collection of clothes, and made news with what many consider her most popular fashion moment, wearing a backless sheer Roberto Cavalli Fall 2004 at the Latin Grammys of that same year. Although it is possible the latex dress she just wore for New Year’s might surpass that Cavalli moment.
We’ll have to wait and see.
