“I wear a latex dress at least once a week. Like, where do you guys think the baddie went?” Kylie Jenner made the above statement to Dazed Magazine last May, and whether she’s a ‘baddie’ or not, she surely does wear latex a lot. As do her sisters. And Kylie and her half-sister, Kim Kardashian, were just seen ringing in the holidays in some stunning latex couture.
Kylie attended the OBB Media holiday party just two days ago, wearing a curve-hugging red latex mini dress with a high neck and side cuts that left her arms bare. The latex dress also featured a back slit, and Jenner matched the bright holiday Christmas red with a manicure of the same color
At the same time, Kylie’s step-sister, Kim Kardashian, stepped out in red latex leggings for dinner with her daughter. One might recall Kim’s recent latex leggings “fashion emergency” (see our blog about it here) during her “All’s Fair” show’s press tour. Nearly ‘breaking the net’ once again with yet another post read-round-the-world, Kim reached out to Naomi Watts to borrow some lube to help slip her leggings up her legs.
This time around, Kim was in her own red for the holiday, red latex leggings to be exact, with a black leather hoodie and black leather thigh-high-boots.
Surely our favorite textile is appropriate for any occasion. But the holidays can prompt slightly more festive dressing. Latex leggings, mini dresses, or some latex lingerie for intimate unwrapping all can make one’s spirits ever brighter this time of year. And yes, the colors and styles latex couture can come in, leaves us all plenty of options.
So, we say, ring in whatever holiday you happen to celebrate or even if you’re not celebrating any, with any latex you like.
