Turning out in two latex outfits, Kylie Minogue showed up at the iconic UK Battersea Power Station last Thursday for a tree-lighting festival/sing-along. Pushing a red button atop a pedestal to set off sparks and the tree lighting, Kylie was wearing a shiny red latex dress cut to a mermaid skirt, with long sleeves. The Australian pop diva got the crowd going, chanting XMAS, her new Amazon Music song, joined by the Battersea Power Station Community Choir. Other songs the crowd participated in included “Let It Snow,” “Santa Baby,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
In a promo pic for the event, Kylie posed in a different outfit. Wrapped up like a present, she was in all blue, her dress sporting two big bows, a thigh-high split, and a shiny latex bodice. Added to this Kylie-holiday magic is the exclusive Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) pop-up shop, open from December 5th to the 7th inside Battersea. Here, fans can grab limited-edition merch.
Kylie is revisiting her 2015 Kylie Christmas album this year by releasing four new songs with it, “XMAS” being one. She also posed in a promo pic for this release, wearing a different red latex dress (just as sexy though) than she wore for her Battersea appearance. We surely have seen Kylie Minogue wearing latex aplenty; we reported on her stepping out and about in our favorite textile here, to name one of the more recent times.

Battersea Power Station, one of the world’s largest buildings and its interior notable for original Art Deco décor, was completely decommissioned in the early 80s. Since 2022, it has been one of London’s social hubs, now featuring shopping, entertainment venues, bars, restaurants, and parks.
Vintage rock fans will recognize the building from the front cover of Pink Floyd’s 1977 album Animals.
There was no sign of an inflatable pig at Kylie’s appearance.
