2025 GrammyS Fashion

We count on the Grammys, more than any other US award show for revealing a celebrity or two wearing some fantastic latex couture. And we surely have seen a few stunning moments over the years of our favorite textile at the show. Most recently there was Dojo Cat at the 65th Grammy’s two years ago, wearing head-to-toe latex Versace and Alessandra Ambrosio a year later in a platinum-colored liquid slinky latex gown with train. This year there wasn’t much latex seen, save for Julia Fox accessorizing her sheer black mini, and black leather jacket, with yellow latex kitchen gloves. But alternate ensembles and plenty of skin at this year’s Grammys? Surely!

We thought we’d wait a day for the smoke to clear on all the Monday morning quarterbacking fashion posts and give our two cents today.

So, here goes…

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s kids arrived in some fantastic finery. While Jaden Smith wore a classic black suit and tie, his head was caged in a mock-up of a black castle. And sister Willow was one of the stars who showed lots of skin this night, wearing a black trench over a sparkly two-piece bra and hot pants, stomping around in high black platforms. Yes, her long legs made a good showing.

Teddy Swims’ tan suit and hat were festooned and adorned with pearls of white, gold, and black. Lady Gaga, never one to disappoint, was in full goth regale, wearing a black turtleneck dress with a huge skirt. Sabrina Carpenter was in a bespoke pastel blue silk gown with a daring open back. Taylor Swift in a short sparkling red mini, the main color of her boyfriend’s football team. Singer Shaboozey wore a shiny grey houndstooth leather suit jacket, accessorized with a fringed shawl wrapped around his neck and falling to the floor with an ending fringe. Cynthia Erivo’s usual sparking nails as much made a statement as her cut-out dress with silver bodice. And Joy Villa wore a Trump red hat sporting the slogan “The Hat Stays On.”

To name but a few.

The winner of the night though for sheer sartorial controversy has to go to Bianca Censori. Walking from her car to the red carpet in a long black coat, Kanye West standing next to her, not smiling as usual, Censori dropped her coat to reveal herself wearing a completely see-through mess ‘dress.’ Showing both her back and front, the couple then left the proceedings, even though Kanye was nominated this night.
