You have surely heard of that seeming cultural phenomenon of things happening in threes…well this number sometimes does indeed play across the latex wardrobe world. We tend to see a bunch of great sightings of our favorite textile lumped together, as you read here often. But in the case of latex couture postings last week, they indeed did happen in threes.
This first saw Chrissy Teigen at ChainFEST Los Angeles’ VIP Night, dressed in a curve-hugging low-cut black latex bodysuit and nude thin skirt. On her Instagram profile, Teigen remarked how difficult it was to move in such a tight outfit. But she surely looked smashing at this night celebrating “The World’s First Gourmet Chain Food Festival” return.
Across the pond were two distinct celebrity latex sightings at two different events.
First, there was a notable latex wardrobe at the Attitude Awards, an annual celebration held at London’s Roundhouse, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community’s consistently empowered progressing through every aspect of the culture, from the arts to politics, sport, science, and beyond. At the event, singer/dancer/media personality Ashley Roberts, first known to us all as a member of The Pussycat Dolls, wore a stunning tight black latex couture creation of a flame-shaped top, and full-length skirt with split.
“Heartstopper” actress Corinna Brown was at another UK event, dressed in her killer latex couture. Showing up at Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards, the actress wore a red sleeveless latex evening dress (see here on her Instagram). Sporting two leg slits up to her hips and its tight bodice, again curves were on high display in only the way latex ever can display them.
Surely, there were other wonderful latex wardrobe moments than just the three above…in private, at parties, events, and shows, from just everyday folks (as most of us are) and celebrities. But sometimes things do happen in threes, or we just pick a trio to celebrate.
