To be sure, the cars are any amazing accompaniment to the couture and does make the Couture & Cars Fashion Show certainly something we love to be part of. The visual allure of vintage and modern exotic sportscars with models walking a runway among them is a match made in alt. fashion heaven. We know for instance, that the World of WerableArt’s museum, all the way over in New Zealand, featured a match-up of fashion designer’s clothing (our winning one included) with cars just recently and Mr. Bailey’s assumption that more men do attend these shows seems to be born out time and again when we have seen our couture matched with car culture.

The LeMay America’s Car Museum in Tacoma was full with cars, attendees and styles. Along with Dawnamatrix, four other designers presented their latest wardrobe collections and accessories.
The Jenner T-Shirt Faux Pass
From their Kendall + Kylie clothing collection, the famous Jenner sisters attempted to release what they were calling “vintage” music t-shirts this week. The ladies took to superimposing their K&K logo or their faces (and in some cases, bikini shots) over classic album cover art and music star images. Using pictures from The Notorious B.I.G., Metallica, Led Zeppelin and many more, the sisters received a huge backlash this week when they revealed their latest attempt at hip haute couture across Instagram.
Lucci Auctions and Lunches
Teaming up with estate seller Everything But the House, Lucci has some items starting at a price of only one dollar and the action, which runs until March 10th, will donate a portion of Lucci’s sale to United Cerebral Palsy of New York City (her grandson is afflicted with the disease). We were contacted by stylist Andrew Richardson over the summer to create a larger-than-life look for the “Fireworks” singer, pieces as sexy as they were unusual, for a Covergirl “Plumpify Mascara” commercial. Dressing a woman known for her outrageous and innovative fantasy costume designs, someone who can straddle both the sexy and the silly, a pop star of infinite different looks and persona, we knew we had to bring the very best to this assignment and take the word “Plumpify” to a whole new level.
